Physiotherapy for Neck Pain
Physiotherapy for Neck Pain
Modern therapy for neck pain
Neck pain is one of the most common complaints of all. One-sided posture, stress and lack of exercise often play a role – long periods of sitting and poorly designed workstations make the problem worse.
Good to know: wear in the joints and discs of the cervical spine is very common and no cause for concern – many people have it without feeling any pain. With targeted physiotherapy, regular exercise and an ergonomic workstation, neck complaints can be treated and prevented well in most cases.
Our approach
We assess, advise on and treat acute and chronic neck complaints with manual therapy according to the latest science. We complement your doctor’s diagnosis with an ICF-based analysis that takes physical, functional and personal factors into account. For diagnosis and progress monitoring we use proven questionnaires such as NDI, BNQ, HADS and FABQ.
Whiplash
Whiplash (WAD) often results from rear-end collisions. Precise classification of the complaints and active, well-dosed treatment are key to a good recovery. We support you according to current guidelines – including case management in consultation with doctors and insurers.
Conditions we treat
- Non-specific, acute and chronic neck pain as well as pain radiating into the arms or thoracic spine
- Disc disease / disc herniation
- Radiculopathy
- Post-operative neck complaints
- Neck complaints after accidents (see whiplash)
- Muscular problems and tension
