Therapy

The McKenzie Method® (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, MDT) is used by doctors, therapists and patients worldwide for back, neck and joint complaints.

Most musculoskeletal pain is “mechanical” in origin – meaning it is linked to movements and postures in daily life. New Zealand physiotherapist Robin McKenzie discovered that certain repeated movements can often relieve pain quickly and restore mobility.

What makes it special: you learn to treat yourself. With a few targeted exercises you can influence your complaints independently and prevent relapses – without medication or passive measures. This makes you independent and saves time and money.

Focus

With the McKenzie Method we assess and treat acute and subacute spinal complaints. Using repeated movements, we find out which direction of movement relieves your pain – and that movement then becomes your therapy.

Numerous scientific studies confirm the effectiveness of MDT.
